Iron Kettle Kazabana

The works of the Suzuki Morihisa Workshop are characterized by delicate expressions and a refined quality. Despite being made of iron, they exhibit a moist and soft iron texture. One of their iron kettle designs depicts snow falling on the body portion as a pattern, and the term "Kazabana" in its name refers to the phenomenon where snow falling on distant mountains is carried by the wind and arrives downwind. 
In Japan, there has been a tradition of using nature-inspired patterns in designs since ancient times. This design not only captures the serene beauty of a snowy landscape but also serves as a creative means to counteract the oppressive heat of summer.
