A live graffiti painting event by BELOWKEY at the celebrated Thai restaurant TONG, in the heart of Bushwick, featuring a collection of hand-painted art on handcrafted Japanese home furnishings. AREA New York invites contemporary graffiti artist BELOWKEY to transform refined furniture pieces into bold statements, challenging the boundaries between New York’s graffiti culture and fine Japanese craftsmanship. Each piece embodies a dialogue between the precision of traditional craft and the raw energy of street expression.

BELOWKEY is a visual artist from Queens, New York, known for his colorful, playful style rooted in graffiti and his NYC upbringing. Since earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2013, he has created numerous murals and canvases, exhibited internationally, and been featured in arts and culture publications. His work includes collaborations with brands such as Sony, Reebok, Vita Coco, and his signature characters—especially the iconic monkey—can be spotted throughout the streets of New York.
