AREA New York Joins NYCxDESIGN 2026
AREA New York is pleased to participate in the 2026 NYCxDESIGN Festival with “Japan Art & Furniture,” a curated exhibition of everyday objects, handcrafted works, and original furniture inspired by Japanese aesthetics and the wabi-sabi philosophy.
Presented at our Midtown Manhattan showroom, the exhibition brings together handcrafted ceramics, cabinetry rooted in traditional Japanese woodworking, and select design pieces. Through material, craftsmanship, and spatial composition, the presentation reflects AREA’s ongoing philosophy of “Material, Craftsmanship, and Design.”
The exhibition is part of the official NYCxDESIGN Festival events calendar and welcomes visitors during the festival week from May 14 to 20, 2026.
